Lifelong Republican cannot support Latta

As a lifelong Republican, I regularly have voted for our outstanding candidates running for office. But I cannot support Bob Latta. When Latta voted to replace Obamacare, knowing the Congressional Budget Office forecast a 25 percent increase for individuals, including agriculture and small business, I was angry.

Galbraith better on environmental issues

I have been looking forward to fall — for cooler temperatures and for cooler heads to prevail! We have a chance to elect members to Congress who will fight for our ailing democracy instead of meekly voting the party line and hiding from constituents who have legitimate questions and real concerns.

We hold stewardship of some of the most fertile farmland on the continent.
