During Tuesday’s Division III sectional semifinal girls soccer match against Riverdale, the Tigers’ strategy was to keep nine players behind the ball at all times, with one player playing up, which switched a little in the second half.

CRESTLINE — Lainey Holman’s statistics do not stand out in any one area, but her overall impact was evident Tuesday night when she was not in the match. Wynford was not the same team after her injury late in the third set, and Crestline rallied for a 14-25, 20-25, 26-24, 25-17, 15-12 victory in a Division IV sectional semifinal match at Crestline.
