Palace holding auditions for 2 shows

MARION — Marion Palace Theatre Executive Director Bev Ford has announced auditions will be held for two upcoming Palace Productions, “Willy Wonka Jr.” and “The Drowsy Chaperone.” Character breakdowns for each musical can be found on the Palace Theatre website at www.marionpalace.org.

Gospel music events scheduled

TIFFIN — The Tiffin Gospel Music Association is presenting many upcoming events. Gospel Singing at the Gazebo will be held at noon this Saturday and Aug. 19 at 141 E. Findlay St., Carey, and Saturday’s program features Set Apart, Ed Ewing, Chris Baldwin, Jimmy Bloomfield and Donna Sue. New Presence Gospel, Purpose Driven and Paula Barron will perform Aug. 19. Guests should bring lawnchairs.

Nine bands prepare to take WyCo Fairgrounds stage at 2017 Wyanstock

Grape Jam

Wyanstock 2017 will rock the Wyandot County Fairgrounds on July 1. This is the fourth year for the 12-hour music festival put on by Wyandot County Young Professionals. The schedule is jam-packed with bands, food, drinks, vendors selling arts and wares, a cornhole tournament and a meat smoking competition from noon to midnight. Camping sites are available June 30 and July 1.
