MARION — The Marion Palace Theatre is offering a family-friendly Halloween celebration, a Monster Mash dance party, from 5-7 p.m. Oct. 28 in the theatre’s May Pavilion. Those in attendance can hit the dance floor with music by DJ Dennis Cametti, play carnival games and create a take-home craft.

MANSFIELD — Bucyrus artist Sandy Laipply will be taking part in the Richland Carousel Pop Up Mural Showcase to be held from 6-10 p.m. Saturday at the Richland Carousel Park in Mansfield. Artists from the area will be exhibiting their interpretations of the all of the animals on the carousel.

CAREY — The 37th Carey Fest’s featured musical acts are a mixed bag of styles from Southwest Louisiana-esque funk to five-part harmony to high-energy country-rock.
