Marion theater offering private classes

MARION — Marion Palace Theatre Executive Director Bev Ford has announced the Palace Academy of the Arts program has expanded to offer additional one-On-one private classes. Joining Academy Director and instructor Kristi Wink are experienced vocal instructors Matthew Downing and Jami Rawlins, along with dance instructor Chelsea Sims.

WMH Comedy Night set for Jan. 19

Comedy Night update

For the 20th year in a row, The First Citizens National Bank is presenting Wyandot Memorial Hospital’s Comedy Night to help with priority patient-related projects at WMH. Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks No. 83, First Federal Bank, Kimmel Corporation, Beerco, Delta Dental of Ohio, Morral Excavating and Wilson Tire Co. are co-sponsoring the annual wintertime event scheduled for Jan. 19 and featuring headliner comedian Andy Hendrickson.

North Central Academy having 2 performances

TIFFIN — North Central Academy is hosting the play “Old Plastic Santa” at 7 p.m. today and 9:30 a.m. Friday at the North Central Ohio Educational Service Center, 928 W. Market St., Tiffin. Cast members are Gabrielle Baumgartner as Moose, Tyrek Hyde as Johnny, Casey Snyder as Caroler 1, Jason Hoker as Andy, Jon Mason as Tim, Alex Amory as Ken, Josh Markley as Mark, Kelsi Smith as Caroler 2, Lee Hemminger as Tina, Chyanne Tuttle as Rita, Michelle Snyder as Caroler 3, Ethan Sprow as Rick and Mr. John Davoli as Uncle Louie.
