Dance tryouts set for Feb 24

TIFFIN — Kathy Miller, of trideaDANCE, the resident modern dance company of The Ritz Theatre, will hold auditions for dancers and movers ages 9 and older to develop a new intergenerational piece. The audition is 1-4 p.m. Feb. 24 at The Ritz Theatre, 30 S. Washington St., Tiffin.

USHS One Acts set for Sunday

The tradition of the battling classes continues. The Upper Sandusky High School drama department will be presenting its Afternoon of One Acts at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the USHS Little Theater. Tickets are $7 at the door. The freshmen/first years will be presenting “The Internet is Distract — Oh Look a Kitten” by Ian McWethy under the direction of Abigail Davidson and Kate Gagnon.

Marion theater offering private classes

MARION — Marion Palace Theatre Executive Director Bev Ford has announced the Palace Academy of the Arts program has expanded to offer additional one-On-one private classes. Joining Academy Director and instructor Kristi Wink are experienced vocal instructors Matthew Downing and Jami Rawlins, along with dance instructor Chelsea Sims.
