Wyandot Mutual Insurance Company was started in 1874 by a group of people south of McCutchenville in an effort to put together a small insurance company to protect their own buildings.

Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores soon could be coming to Upper Sandusky, with hopes of opening a convenience store, restaurant and professional tire shop on the west end of the city by late 2016 or early 2017. Communications specialist Kealey Dorian confirmed late Tuesday morning Love’s is looking at a site near the intersection of U.S. 23/30 and North Warpole Street.

LIMA — Following an affirmative membership vote earlier this year, the Ohio Department of Financial Institutions officially granted a state charter to Superior Federal Credit Union, now known as Superior Credit Union Inc.
