Upper Sandusky-based Pizzazz will host a shop-and-sip event with local winery White Shutter Winery from 6-9 p.m. Nov. 13 at 228 S. Eighth St. Live music will begin at 6:30 p.m.

The Upper Sandusky safety committee meeting scheduled for 4 p.m. Monday has been moved. The meeting will take place after the regular Upper Sandusky City Council meeting, which begins at 7:30 p.m. Monday.

SYCAMORE — A special meeting of Sycamore Village Council has been scheduled for 6:30 p.m. today in council chambers at the utilities office.

Upper Sandusky Curves owner Connie Surowicz has added a new business at 228 S. Eighth St. with Pizzazz hosting an open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony last week.

CAREY — Vaughn Industries is teaming up with Marathon Corp. to raise funds for the Miracle League of Findlay to build a miracle field and playground. A miracle field is a baseball field with a cushioned surface that allows players with disabilities to participate in baseball.

MORRAL — Morral Specialty Grain, a newly created division of The Mennel Milling Company, has acquired the assets of the former popcorn facility located at 2970 CH 74, Morral.
