Donald R. Stone, president of United Bank recently announced the hiring of John Herring as vice president of commercial and agricultural lending.
Herring has more than 20 years of retail, commercial and ag lending experience.
Herring is a Wyandot County native and a graduate of Upper Sandusky High School. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business from DeVry University and completed the Graduate School of Banking in Madison, Wis.
Herring resides in Harpster with his wife Kathy and two sons.

United Bank is a division of The Park National Bank with roots going back more than 150 years. United Bank, with its three offices in Crawford County, is the largest depository institution in the county and is the only institution in Marion County with four offices, including one with extended hours.
