The Wyandot County Young Professionals will hold its kickoff event at 7 p.m. Thursday at MJ Mugsy’s, 123 W. Wyandot Ave., Upper Sandusky.
The new group was established as a subsidiary of the Wyandot County Office of Economic Development with assistance from various Wyandot County organizations and businesses, including financial support from the Upper Sandusky Area Chamber of Commerce. The group’s mission is to create a network of resources for its members, attract and retain young talent and build needed competencies in the future business and community leaders of Wyandot County.
The intent of the kickoff event is to give those interested a better understanding of the group’s purpose and for prospective members to network.
Membership is open to anyone between the ages of 18 and 45 living or working in Wyandot County or alumni of a Wyandot County school district.
Appetizers will be provided and village of Carey Mayor Steven Smalley will give a short address to the group.
